Latest trends in food research

The aim of this study is to investigate the food insecurity coping strategies employed by street vendors of central Durban for their households. The study uses a Food Insecurity Coping Strategies questionnaire based on the Coping Strategy Index (CSI) but because this is a once off exercise, it was neither possible nor necessary to use the CSI as a baseline per se.
